SUPPORT THE FUND OF THE NETHERLANDS WITH 2% FROM YOUR INCOME TAX
The Fund of the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic was established in 2006 to contribute to corporate social responsibility activities. The Fund is created from 2% of the income tax of Chamber´s members based on the decision to join and contribute. Some members of the Chamber have already used the possibility to invest 2% from their income tax to support a good thing in previous years. Please find enclosed the information.

TAX SEMINAR
The Foreign Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia organized on June 9, 2009 a Tax seminar focused on the changes already valid or to be expected.
The topic Experiences by the Application of transfer pricing according to post January 1, 2009 legislation was introduced by Richard Odnoga from Accace. Renáta Bláhová from BMB Leitner spoke on the topic Recent and Upcoming Income Tax Changes in 2009 and Dana Ferenčíková from PricewaterhouseCoopers Slovensko.

Due to very positive responses from our members for a regional members’ visit, our Chamber joined the day tour organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in SR to Žilina and the KIA Motors Factory. The outing continued with a visit to a furniture company - VITAL a.s.

QUEEN´S DAY PARTY 2009
This year the Queen´s Day party was celebrated in a typically Dutch location – on a boat. At the Botel Marina the Chamber hosted around 100 guests, who celebrated to the tones of the Vlado Vizár Jazz Band.
